CSPECS PRODUCT INDEX STRUCTURE
The CSPECS Index is a Software as a System (SaaS) service. This allows CSPECS to provide an information delivery system whose consistency, standardization and accuracy make it very attractive to DSB professionals. From a manufacturer’s perspective, the Index’s ability to cost-effectively personalize information makes it an efficient, usable and long-awaited tool. For example, changes in documentation about product characteristics or application methods are easily and inexpensively implemented, enhancing the reliability of the information exchange.
Our initial focus was to develop specific data sets to create a unique search functionality for the product index; ideally, to create a single location to search by specific product attributes for the specification community. The structure of the Index is designed to make access to manufacturer product information as easy and intuitive as possible. Information can be searched through product description, specific manufacturer, or Master Division listing.
While the Index is in a BETA mode, all the clients that implement a CSPECS Technology application will receive a listing for their company and their products for no cost. Our technology applications tie the data into the Index so the information that is available on the manufacturers' applications is also available through the Index.
