BACKGROUND
Nick Ruggio, the founder of Construction Specs, has worked in many phases of the construction process and was frustrated with the information gap between manufacturers and the product Specifiers / Consumers. Many times Specifiers are ill informed of the full gamut of products available to address their needs and General / Sub-Contractors are often in a dilemma about where to find the products locally that are specified. Hence another element to close the information gap and that is to include the manufacturer’s Distributors in the database. Construction Specs is much more than a Product Specification and Company Profile library. Construction Specs publication of periodic CSPECS Reports and CSPECS Bulletins [special announcements] is a promotional tool for Manufacturers and a valuable information source for Specifiers /Consumers of products.
